Both experience nature walks, campfire programs and Junior Ranger activities, all designed to explore the world's fundamental workings. Teachers and students should reserve a date now. Join us for a foliage walk or nature walk during September and October. Hike nature trails. Explore geology, like glacial erratics. Contact ParksProject.org for school presentations of our many in-school programs. Learn about the Ice Age, Fall foliage, Mosquitoes, native plants, native cultures, and local geology. Take a field trip and nature walk. Visit Wompatuck for environmental education. November 2008 ParksProject.org will be working at the Florida Panther Preserve with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
From December 2008 through February 2009, camp at Myakka River State Park in Sarasota, Florida. Go bird watching. Take an air boat ride. Attend Campfire Programs on Alligators and Venomous Snakes. Visit the Canopy Walkway and Visitor Center.
Spring 2009, join ParksProject.org at Leo Carrillo State Beach in Malibu California. Go camping, take a day trip, or field trip. Join after school activities and outdoor education. Stop by and see us at the North Beach Visitor Center. Check out the life-size Blue and Gray Whale mural and whale exhibit inside. Study whale migration or environmental education. Outdoor fun includes tide pool interpretation, beach walks, nature walks, wildflower hikes and campfire programs from March through June.
For 2009 Summer activities, ParksProject.org will hike and explore Dash Point State Park in the Seattle area during July and August. This summer, programs include nature hikes, wildflower walks, beach walks, and exploring habitat for live sand dollars. Kids will love weekend activities like Junior Ranger programs. Family entertainment includes evening campfire programs.
